Challenge

Launch Corona’s brand new hard seltzer “Seltzerita” on Cinco de Mayo in a way that highlights the bold, Mexican margarita-inspired flavors of the drink.

Insight

Through social listening, we learned that depending on where they live in the U.S., many people don’t get to celebrate with the authentic, bold Mexican flavors they crave. And they’re pretty vocal about it too.

Solution

Corona decided to bring the flavor to these people on Cinco de Mayo through a Corona Seltzerita Cantina food truck. For the truck, we collaborated with our friend Chef Rick Martinez to pair each Seltzerita with a different Mexican dish. We also held an online sweepstakes that provided one winner a visit from the Corona food truck to help elevate their Cinco de Mayo party.
